HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (including CPR)
Australia's most popular first aid course covering CPR, defibrillation, and emergency care for the home, workplace, and community.
A nationally recognised half day CPR course delivering the skills and confidence to respond to a cardiac arrest in any setting.
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a nationally recognised unit of competency that gives you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to respond to a cardiac arrest at home, at work, or in the community. The half day class is delivered face to face by experienced trainers using the latest Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
You will work through the chain of survival, complete continuous, high quality compressions on adult and infant manikins, and rehearse safe defibrillator use. The session also covers safe scene assessment, recovery position, and clear handover to paramedics, plus the documentation and reporting expected in workplaces. On successful completion you receive a Statement of Attainment that meets workplace, NDIS, and aged care provider requirements.
