Upon successful completion of all 15 units of competency and the required 120 hours of work placement, you will be awarded the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability). This nationally recognised qualification is issued under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) through a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
The qualification is recognised across Australia and valued by NDIS providers, aged care facilities, home care agencies, and community service organisations nationwide. Students who complete selected units without finishing the full course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units achieved. Credit transfer may also be available for eligible units previously completed through another Registered Training Organisation.
Government subsidised training places may be available to eligible students in certain states and territories under programs such as Smart and Skilled in NSW, Skills First in Victoria, and similar state-based initiatives. Yes. The online theory component is self-paced and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can fit study around your current work and personal commitments. Work placement hours can also be completed flexibly across multiple weeks in consultation with your placement site.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is often listed as a recommended elective and is required by many aged care and NDIS employers. It is delivered as a separate short course. Ask our team about bundling both courses together for a complete employment-ready package.
