Manual Handling (Refresher)
A short, practical refresher in safe manual handling for support workers, carers, and frontline staff.
A practical one day refresher in safe medication assistance and administration for NDIS and aged care workers.
Medication Competency Refresher is a one day class for support workers and carers who already assist with or administer medications under provider policy. Delivered in a hybrid format, the course combines a short online module with a practical workshop so you can rehearse the everyday skills that keep medication safe.
You will revisit the rights of medication, common medication forms, dose aids, and webster packs, then practise reading medication charts, completing the medication record, and responding to a missed or refused dose. Trainers walk through high risk situations including PRN medications, controlled drugs, and incident reporting so you leave confident, current, and ready for your next shift.
